One Card 101

Welcome new One Card holders! One Card 101 has four main topics to get you started with your new UConn ID.

Photo Upload and ID Verification

New UConn students, faculty and staff can submit Husky One Card photos online.
ID verification is required to complete your photo submission.

STEP 1: Read Photo Submission Guidelines for full upload instructions and to learn which types of ID are accepted for online verification.

STEP 2: Gather your documentation and items for photo submission.

STEP 3: Log in to your Husky One Card account to complete your online photo submission.

STEP 4: Once your photo is reviewed and approved your Husky One Card will be mailed to your selected regional campus, unless you selected pick up at Storrs Campus.

Getting Your Husky One Card

All new Husky One Card patrons, UConn students and UConn employees, will receive their ID card at their designated regional campus which they select during the online photo submission process.

Any questions should be addressed to the One Card Office at onecard@uconn.edu.

Using Husky Bucks

Husky Bucks is a dollar for dollar debit-like account connected to your Husky One Card.

Cardholders enjoy the convenience of making purchases at participating Husky Bucks locations, on and off campus, without having to carry cash or other cards.

Husky Bucks are the only accepted payment option at WEPA Print locations. There are no coin machines.

Replacement ID Cards

The One Card Office can replace lost or stolen cards, as well as defective, worn, or outdated (status or name) cards.

If your card is lost or stolen, deactivate your card immediately to ensure your accounts are secure and your building access privileges are not compromised.

Deactivate Your Card

Abused cards will incur a replacement fee as outlined in our card care policies.

If you are on a regional campus, request a replacement card using this form: Replacement ID Request (Cardholders on the Storrs campus can visit our office for a replacement card).
